There's the Greenland Dog, which used to be called the Eskimo Dog or Husky. (Good old Observer's Book of Dogs!)

hi, Greenland dogs did used to be called Eskimo dogs, but the club changed the name to eliminate confusion, when the canadian eskimos started to appear.

I have links to the Greenland dog club site, if you want them, unsure if i can post it or not. Mail me and I'll send you the link.

Husky, apprently many years ago, used to be a generic term for all sled dogs (thats what i was told by a knowledgeable person.) but i suppose since people keep trying to be PC, names hace kinda changed.
