Hi

My newf puppy was born on the 26th April, I know they have to be 6 months old to show but is the six months counted in weeks or is it 6 months from the date of birth. There are no ring craft classes in my area (Hull) so am a bit stuck on how to practise standing her as I have not shown for a long time and never newfs.

Thanks

Nik

6 months from the date of birth. Your newf can be shown from 26th October. Would your pup's breeder be able to give you any showing tips?
Hope this helps. Good luck.

Have you tried any of the local pet obedience clubs ?

Some might have members who do breed & there is a ringcraft club about 8 miles from Hull(but the hall might be too small for you to de able to move your dog well)

Secretary is below but you can just turn up

WESTWOOD RINGCRAFT TRAINING CLUB
Mrs D Beecroft,
.
Tel: 01482841876

& one at Drax as well
