I've decided I dont want to feed my 18 month old lab just dog food. I've read whats in it and its disgusting to me. I've looked up recieipies (sp?) and made him peanut butter dog biscuits tonight but I think I messed them up! LOL Not much of a chef!! My question is, does anyone bake for their dog? And does anyone have an recipies?? I am clueless.. I know a couple of things that are harmful for dogs to eat.. so im staying away from those. He doesnt seem to like his food, and we've switchd him a few times.. even gradually he gets sick. I've been feeding him dried apples and dried bananas and he loves carrots.. but im looking for a meal. If anyone could help, that would be great! Thanks!

I have not read this book, but I am on the feeding list that the author is on - go to http://www.naturalpetcare.co.uk/shop/Books.htm and have a look at K9Kitchen. She talks both about cooked feeding and raw feeding and as far as I know there are recipes as well. At some point I'll be picking the book up - just haven't got round to it.
If you're interested in her list - it's a yahoo list called k9kitchen
