Which one of these would you recommend in general.
Short and sweet :)

I'm tempted to say "Sweet", Rachel, but that would be flippant! ;) :D

I preferred the Gentle Leader to the Halti - couldn't say why. However we now use a Dogmatic - http://www.dogmatic.org. They had to specially make one for us as their smallest was still to big for our whippet, and they were fantastic about it!

We keep Gentle Leaders in the cars at all times in case we get caught out and need them. The dogs are funny, sometimes they are perfectly behaved and other times total terrors, so it always helps to have something handy. But I REALLY like the Dogmatics.

We like our gentle leader because we were put off by other people's scare stories about Halti and I rightly or wrongly have slackened the nose loop as Morse gets the hang of walking not pulling - and it was reccomended by a trainer we had to help us at a very low point in our career as new dog owners. It is easier tobuy a halti in Edinburgh than a Gentle Leader though.
