Topic Dog Boards / Health / Thuja for warts
- By crazyspaniel [gb] Date 12.08.03 12:55 UTC
I am interested in trying thuja for my elderly springer, she seems to get a new wart every time I look. I can't find much info about how it works, even though alot of champdog folk say its good. Does it shrink the warts or just stop more from developing? Any info would be great.

Does anyone know anything about this?

Yes- THuja occ 30cc works very well. It is a homeopathy product so best to give on empty stomach-I order on line-Also homeopathy is given differently than regular meds-For the Thuja-you give the pells (as they are called) based on body weight when you see the wart or cyst(I have used Thuja successfully for interdigital cysts) as soon as the cyst wart begins to disappear-you stop treatment. It is not used like an antibiotic where you take it for 7-10 days etc...

Hi, if you contact www.ainsworths.com ( or co.uk - never can remember which!) they will tell you how much/how often etc. I use homeopathic remedies too, almost always with great success. Could you come back and tell us if it works - though sometimes remedies take a while to work - if you are using the right one, they invariably do.
