There's a bat hanging upside down in my daughters bedroom. Asleep.
Any ideas?

What sort of bat? Cricket or Wom? ;) :D :D
Sorry.
Leave the window open and it'll go out at dusk. You may have to shut the window during the night to stop it coming back, though.

If you get a towel tonight and put it over it you will be able to grab it gently and put it out the window. Hope its not a vampire bat! :)

Don't they bite? I've turned all the lights off and opened the windows... last resort we'll (Jon) try the towel thing.
I was chatting to a farmer earlier and he said they fly in and out of his bedroom every night

when he has the windows open! One did fly into the wall though and kinda slid down dead :D ;)

I wouldn't hurt anything if I could help it - which is why Mollie has moved out in order to let it find its own way out ;)

Is the bat-mobile it's telephone, or one of those things you put above a cot? :D

:D :D @ Lucy
Wabbit is still of undetermined sex. To be honest, its a wabbit with attitude. We tried to turn it on its back but it wasn't too keen on that... so at the moment its "Roger" ;)
Edit: Robin the Bat has gone (we think) we left the windows open and it disappeared :)

Un-hook it from where it is now and re-hang some where more suitable, do you know which one it is?
Once found one hanging on a spoon that was in a mash potato saucepan that was filled with water to soak, had to wash and dry that one before relocating.

Chloe you will have to leave it until tonight. dont touch is though because they have very thin membranes in their wings. Phone a widelife centre they will advise you exactly what to do. they might even remove it.

My boss is called Robin.
When he frowns (which is often) he looks exactly like Kermit.
Sorry, nothing to do with bats.

:D :D
