My Border Collie has for some time had an orange staining on the white part of his blaze. Right between the eyes.It doesn't bother him at all. But it bothers me. He has been to the vet who has taken a sample of hair from the area to look at under the scope and also tried to grow a culture from this hair. Nothing has come to light. Any ideas, anyone???

May sound daft but what kind of soil do you have in your area. I've been to Lincoln and Leicester recently and both times I've come back with a dog with an orange face after he's dug himself a hole and gone down head first after having a drink!!

I live on chalk, so no help there. I have 4 other dogs and none of them have any problems......yet.
