I used Pedigree weaning porridge for my last litter and then put the pups on to Pedigree Advance. I tried Beta with them but they got the runs. As Advance is no longer available and I am mating a bitch next week, I was wondering what you use for weaning. Also are there any good breeders schemes out there. All feedback welcome. Thanks
Diane

The breeder scheme is just a token effort (just a 500g sample bag), but Arden Grange Prestige I have found great for feeding in whelp and lactating bitches, and rearing the pups too.

HI I like Arden Grange too, also Febo puppy which is a little less expensive. I tend to wean onto Febo - it mashes up very nicely - but if they are a picky litter I change onto Arden Grange. If I am keeping a puppy on , and its not a not lusty eater then its back to the Arden Grange. There are two AG ranges - I use the more expensive one - sorry haven't got a bag at the mo, so cant remember what its called now.

Is Febo still on the go? Haven't seen it in ages. Has anyone tried any of the Laughing Dog range of completes?

I use james wellbeloved and the breeder scheme is good get free puppy pack with bowl and 2kg bag of puppy to give to the new owners.
With very young pups ground down the puppy kibble in a liquidizer makes a good porrage
