Are raw potatoes good for dogs? My dogs all ways grab them when they fall, skin and all they just love them.

Not sure about spuds..but mine are just mad on the horses carrots!!! Poor horses don't get a look in these days!!

I vaguelly recall that they aren't (very willing to be wrong though). I seem to think it's something to do with the amount of starch in them (??).

I seem to recall someone mentioning that if they are green then they shouldn't be eaten. Someone with some knowledge will help soon.

Don't know about them being good for dogs, but for years I used to have a neighbour who threw them for his Golden Retrievers to fetch ...... and my old Collie used to hoover them up and munch her way through them every evening. She lived to 16 years old, so can't have done her much harm :D

Try having 4 Spanish around you when you're peeling potatoes, not an easy job, I can tell you. For some reason they adore potatoes. I always thought that they weren't good for dogs, but they don't seem to have done any harm to mine.

Checked out the site, thanks. They even like honey due, cantelope, and water mellon hope these are ok to. Of course I only allow a tiny bit :) I think they will eat anything they are just like a hover vaccuum cleaner :D
