Is anyone breeding particularly for use in Falconry ?
I'm living in France at the moment where I thought the Breed originated and no one seems to have heard of them.

The Clumber Spaniel certainly seems to have originated in France, but was developed at Clumber Park, in Nottinghamshire, so may be known under a different name in France.
