You sound very pleased and full of your new puppy, which is as it should be, but are you sure you can cope with owning dogs of different sexes. you will need kennels at a distance from the house or the kennel that is used normaly when the bitch is in season, or you will have to use commercial kennels. If you are looking for a bitch for your dog to stud you need to make sure that the lines are compatable. Would think if you are new to the breed you should give yourselves a good few years to learn more about them before considering buying another pup with a view to breeding.

Thank you Jackie just what i wanted to say, How are you going to stop your male from getting to the female?and i know bulldogs the males are very randy with dogs and humans(hanging on to ones leg) and you really have to know what you are doing when it comes to the breeding/stud work of bulldogs and if you are not experienced in dogs then you are certainly not going to be able to cope with bulldogs, are you going to show? or did you buy for the show ring or pet? if this is your first bulldog then you need to give your self time to understand the breed about 5 years or so.Jackie
