Topic Dog Boards / General / Transporting him in a pick-up

I have got a pickup and thought it would be great for transporting a muddy (most of the time) springer around in. I don't want to put a truck-cab on the back but I wouldn't of thought that a cage on it's own is much good as it is so open.

Does anyone know of some sort of enclosure that I could use that could be fixed into the back of the pickup ?

Thanks,
Boris

What about a dog kennel and tie it or bolt it down (safely secured), I have seen people do this. Then u can just hose the kennel out later for easy cleanning and air dry. :)

ttfn :)

It's not something that I would be happy doing but you could try a lintran dog box. They are solid apart from mesh at the front. Not sure of their web address but if you search for them on google, you should come up with something.

Thanks for the ideas. The Lintran range seem to be exactly what I am after, as you say though, it just needs to be secured. I might pay them a visit and see what they suggest.

For the record, the Lintran site is www.lintran-products.co.uk

Thanks again.
