Please don't take this the wrong way but the best stud dog for your bitch does not necessarily live within an hour's drive of where you live. Choosing a stud dog involves more than finding one of the colour you want as near as possible to where you live. You need to do some homework into your bitch's pedigree & get advice on stud dogs which might suit her lines - ideally your bitch's breeder is the best person to offer this advice, assuming he/she is an experienced, reputable breeder. You also need to know about the various hereditary problems which sometimes crop up in the breed & it goes without saying that both your bitch & any stud dog you choose should have a current (within the last year)clear eye-test certificate meaning they have both been examined by an opthalmologist & found to be clinically clear of the eye disease PRA.
