hello i was just wondering where i can find a breeder in the south of england that breeds the traditional big labs not the small working new labs! does anyone know of a good breeder?

There is nothing new about a working Lab. I think you will find the "New" show Labs are the big ones! Take a look at Whatstandwell Coronet. A lovely show dog of the 50's and not an ounce of fat on him. Knaith Banjo, the last duel champion, slim and workmanlike. And of course possibly the most famous Lab of all, Glenhead Jimmy, born in the 1940's beautiful slim dog! Not at all like the fat dogs in the ring at the moment!

Regards, John

Must be a wind up John, no one who knew anything at all about Labs would say such a silly thing. And if they know absolutely nothing then they would not be aware of the 2 types.
