Ned is back from the vets I was walking him last night along the main road then through an estates onto some fields and paths the paths that eventually come to our garden gate Ned was fine recalling all the time then he went missing I think he went in the brook and went the wrong way I carried on looking ahead not thinking he would double back and he ran in the road and was dragged under a car,I came back to the house thinking ned might be here and Sam came with me we retraced our steps and whilst walking through the estate a lady said are you looking for a dog cos he has been run over,I found a crowd round him he was under some bushes and would not come out till he saw me he was quite badly shook up and had cuts to his groin and his foot was a mess he has been in intensive care and they have let him out today cos he is distressed his leg is in plaster and he is a lot happier here but a sad little neddy.

Oh Glenys you must have had a terrible fright not to mention poor Ned :-(

He will probably recover quicker at home :-) Are you giving him Arnica ? Excellent for shock and also speeds up the natural healing process.

Will email you from work tomorrow to see how you are etc.

Give him a big gentle hug from me and have one yourself :p

Claire.

Thankyou xx
What worried me a lot was luckily some children saw him bolt under some bushes so knew where he was but I would never have looked there for him plus I wonder how many poor animals die by concealing themselves and therefoe not getting found when injured lucky for me I was able to find him quicker because of the children.
