My labrador, Dexter, is 12 months old and today has had his 2nd seizure in 3 weeks. After his 1st he went to the vets for a blood test which came back as ok no problems. I phoned the vets today after his 2nd seizure and they said to just log when he has them and under what circumstances. I feel I need to be doing more than this. Ive tried to get some info off the net and I found somewhere that says getting dogs neutered can help reduce fits. Also it says that if treatment for epilepsy is delayed for too long it may not work. Actually I dont know for sure even if it is epilepsy although it seems that way. Will he need a scan or something? Please help any advice wecome Im really worried.
