I have a 5 year old male neutered aussie. he is not very social, was attacked when he was a pup by two dogs, was not hurt....my family has attained a 9 week old female beagel. She is not aggressive at all. The older dog is raising his lip, has even snapped at her. Is it too late for him to accept another dog in the family? Should I take him through some kind of special social classes? I am really distress over this, would hate to take the puppy back. Please anyone with advise please email me at KimerL4@aol.com.
