OK, a question for all you computer literate types out there! I want to find a program to use for pedigrees, more like a data base where I can enter dogs etc. I'm not too bothered about being able to print pretty pedigrees out , cos I'm not into breeding, just stuff for my own interest. Can anyone recomend anything?

Breedmate

This does all sorts - if you have any questions just ask - I have over 313,000 Dobes in mine so just about know how to use it.

thanks, Ive just been browsing their site. I found the bit about people sharing databases, great idea! Just one thing though, there were a couple of people saying their breed is "Silken Windhound" what on earth is one of those?? I got a mental pictire of a very flatulent afghan! Must get some sleep!!!

As Christine says, Breedmate and particulaly the slightly dearer version "Pedigree Explorer". It's well worth the extra.

.... and of course the email list support group which can be very informative at times.
