I received my puppy from an adoption agency. They only gave her a distemper shot and was dewormed. She was 8 wks at the time and is going on 9 wks old now...should she have further vaccinations at this point? Is the adoption agency at fault for not giving her further vaccinations?

We are contractually obligated to allow them to come to our house whenever they felt the need to check on the puppy. The woman we dealt with was rude and aggressive toward any questions we asked especially with regards to obtaining the puppy's record. She assured us she would be the one to come to our house. Obviously, this would be uncomfortable for us and is there anything we can do to prevent her from being that chosen representative?

This is just a ridiculous situation with a really awful adoption agency. Thank you for any help.

Book her in to see your own vet. She will probably need jabs (parvovirus, leptospirosis, hepatitis, distemper and parainfluenza) at 10 weeks and 12 weeks. The vet will like to see her vaccination record so that what he gives is compatible with what she has already had.
