Hi my choccie lab is nearlly 7 months old and has had diarrhorea since Thursday morning, she was still eating, drinking lots of water and was her normal self. We wormed her last night (Drontal plus) because she hadn't been done in 6 weeks and thought this might be the cause.
This morning though she won't eat and still has diarrhorea and won't leave my side, is this just the effect of the worming tablet or should we take her to the vet to get her checked out?

Thank you in advance for your replies.

If you mean that her poo is runny when out on walks, it could just mean that whatever you are feeding her is a bit too rich, or maybe she has scavenged something that has upset her tum slightly. If she seems her normal self, I wouldn't worry unduly and would maybe feed her bland food for the next couple of days (chicken and rice, plain pasta, something like that).

If, however, she is unable to wait til she is out on walks - ie she is having diarrhoea in the house - and she is normally housetrained in this respect, I would take her to the vet.

Regardless, if you are worried, it does no harm to just give your vet a call and ask his/her advice.

Thanks, she's not doing anything in the house but she is going the garden and then when we're out on a walk. She probably has just found something when we're out that has upset her. Although I may give the vet a ring just in case.
