My 8 month old goldie has just had a small lump taken off the side of his inner lip removed. Vet said it was a warty, fatty lumpy thing!!! and we have sent it off for anaylsis just to be on the safe side. The vets didnt seem worried as he was so young that it would be anything sinister, it looked like a hard piece of flesh about the size of a penny piece. I only found it as I was (again!!) taking the tea-towel that he loves to bury out of his mouth.
He is fine otherwise, but just wondered if any of you guys had had any experience of this in one so young.?

I'd be very supprised if it is anything to worry about Kathryn. It pays to get it analysed if only to put your mind at rest but until you hear the results I'd not worry overmuch.
