Must admit I have never had a bitch but she is much too young to come into season . I would keep an eye on her ( make sure she seems ok in herself ) and get her to the vets first thing in the morning .

I agree with lel, I'd try your hardest to get a urine sample, catch it as she goes and pour it into a small container. It only needs to be a tiny bit. Then take the sample and your puppy to your vets. I'd also try to ensure she drinks plenty of fresh water. Hope she's fine

She may have some sort of urine infection. I don't know if dogs get cystitis. Keep us informed how she gets on.

havent managed to get a sample yet, its proving to be very difficult she is only doing tiny little drips, she hasnt been drinking much either, she seems to be ok in herself running about and playing with our other boxer. just sat now waiting for 9 o clock to ring the vet. i havent taken my eyes off her, following her about waiting for her to wee, bet shes sick of me, wiil let you no how she goes.

been to the vets this morning, she has vaginitis, got a course of antibiotics and have take her back next week. the only thing is i were going to have her spayed before her first season but the vet said because of this it would be better to do it after her season.has anyone else heard this before? this bothers me a little becuse i have 7 month old boxer boy who we didnt want to neuter untill he was fully mature, i have heard this can affect them maturing proply , now if its correct what the vet says he will have to be done, it would be very difficult to keep them apart during her season i couldnt forgive myself if she got caught at such a young age, besides that i dont no the first thing about breeding .the vet also said the vaginitis can be reacurring. thanks. alice

Hi Alice,
I'm a bit curious why you don't want to castrate your dog puppy before he's fully mature, but are happy to spay the bitch while she is immature.....

I just asked the same question on a nother post....lol...:)

How about a kennel, they can each have their own free time to romp and play but just not with each other. Or send one to a friends (preferable the male) this way u definately know she isn't going to get mated. Hey kennels are very handy more then one reason for use..... :)

ttfn :)
