Hi, we have a 14 week old Siberian Husky puppy who is very intelligent. We have more or less cracked house training (we hope) but our problem now stands with him doing his toilets on walkies - he wont. He can be desperate for the toilet when we are out on our jaunts but still wont do anything, he waits until we are back at home and goes in the garden, sometimes he goes in the car. We constantly tell him to "be a good boy" as he knows what this means and he gets atreat when he does but this is to no avail when we are out on walks. Has anyone got any ideas why he wont go when we are out and how we can make him go? We understand its new to him and he will be excited but we have been taking him out for two weeks now three times a day with no responce from him in the toilet department. Ay advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Sam.

Mine was exactly the same at first, but he now does 'go' when on a walk, but he only goes in big spaces like a field he never wants to go in the woods.......

Our old labrador was like this at first - it took a few weeks before she felt confident enough on walks to be able to 'go' when she was out. We were heartily sick of trying to get her home before she burst! But as she got more mature she relaxed enough to feel safe 'marking someone else's territory'.
