Any help would be appreciated! My black and white young BC bitch has been out of coat for about 3 months now, any idea as to when she might start growing it back?
Also, she (seems to) have her top coat back, but over the summer months I've noticed it's changed to a bronzey-brown colour. I've been advised by some show people to keep her out of the sun as much as possible but is there anything I can give her (or perhaps always take her out in a sun reflective coat?) to stop her from "changing colour"?

Hi it depends when she was last in season and when shes due in again bitches lose there coats fully three months after thier season and it gradually comes back in during the build up to thier next season flushing into full bloom just for them to come into season and start the cycle again. As to the brown colour I tend to agree with the advice you have been given about the sun although I think you will find that once she is in full coat again it will look blacker.Gillian

Hi Char, I use Biogroom mink oil spray on my black Yankees. It has a sunscreen included.
