My standard poodle has suddenly developed a small dint in his side, about a hand space up from his thigh on his right side. At first I thought it was just another roll in his skin as he does have lots of loose skin. But it is an actual depression in his flesh. Its about two fingers wide and about two inches long. It doest hurt him, it isnt a lump, just a dint and he is running and playing and eating and everything as normal. The vet says unless it hurts it doesnt need looking at. Any ideas?
