does grandma know she's getting a yorkie? what if she doesn't want one!! most good breeders won't let you buy one as a present :)

As Chloe says, don't give anyone an animal as a present unless they get to choose it! Never as a surprise - what if they don't like it?

How old is your Grandma? A puppy might outlive her - what arrangements have you made for that? This all has to be organised before you actually get a dog.
