just interested to know how many puppies labradors have on average and how much money they sell for?

33000 in one year and a lot of them very poorly bred by puppy farmers and irrisponsible people. If you are thinking of breeding some then my advice is dont!

This is the problem. The rescues are inundated with unwanted Labradors. There are posts here day after day, "Looking for a stud dog" or "How do I stud my dog" and every time I see them I think, here's some more Labs for rescue! These dogs do not stay as cute Andrex puppies and as they get bigger and stronger so many people decide they are more trouble than they are worth and just want shot of them!

I imagine that they get to about 7 months and the cute fluffy puppy gets demanding...and out they go

Problem is that its self-perpetuating, while the breeders don't have to take responsibility, then they continue breeding, keep selling the pups and its rescue that has to step in. I wish I knew the answer..... doesn't bode well for the breed does it :( I would never consider a lab, I like my dogs to be laid back and flat out!

everyone I meet says so when are you going to let her have a litter, the puppies are so cute
It makes me so cross!!!
