We have had our lady (long hared mini red) since march on this year , she is aprox a year old still never had a season and still dirty ! to stop her messing at night she now sleeps on my bed but during the day , even with the back door open to the garden she will pee anywhere in the house ! My mum is about to put new carpets all through the house and says if she does not clean up her act , she can't stay. we also have a standard wired hared , who is also a year old and was clean from a puppy UNTIL lady showed her how to be naughty! has anyone got any suggestion on how to stop my little lady from doing this .

thanks christine

You need to treat her as a puppy and start from scratch

Take her outside every half an hour, after she has eaten and if she wakes up from a sleep
if she wees outside gives her loads of praise and a treat and if you catch her weeing in the house, a loud no and then take her outside

she can obviously hold her bladder as she does through the night
so she just needs retraining

you also need to make sure the smell of the wee has gone from the house as that will encourage her to go again
I think people suggest biological washing powder but I'm not hundred percent sure

There are loads of other threads on housetraining
just use their advice and pretend you have a puppy

Good luck
