Try www.bordercollieclub.com this will give you the secretary's details, contact him as he should know what puppies are available at present. You will also be assured the breeders abide by the Clubs code of conduct. Make sure the breeder has the hip scores for both parents and the parents and pups have been eye tested. Also by going to a reputable/show breeder you should avoid a pup with a very strong working instinct as it sounds like you want it as a family pet.
There is also a Championship dog show at the East of England showground near Peterborough on Thursday this week, where you will see around 200 Border Collies. If you can, let me know and I will meet you there.
