We are a family of four (2 girls aged 9 & 11).
Living on rural edge of Hertford.
Wife at home throughout day.
Have owned borders and a golden lab, (before we married and had kids).
Time is now right for us to add a border collie to our family.

Anyone know of any litters please?

Hi Steve, this is not puppy information, sorry, but you will probably find this weeks(11th July) edition of ' Our Dogs' very interesting. There is an 11 page breed supplement, looks good, even though it's not my breed. There are some breeder adverts, so you might contact some of them about a puppy. Good Luck.

Hi Steve
Try www.bordercollieclub.com this will give you the secretary's details, contact him as he should know what puppies are available at present. You will also be assured the breeders abide by the Clubs code of conduct. Make sure the breeder has the hip scores for both parents and the parents and pups have been eye tested. Also by going to a reputable/show breeder you should avoid a pup with a very strong working instinct as it sounds like you want it as a family pet.

There is also a Championship dog show at the East of England showground near Peterborough on Thursday this week, where you will see around 200 Border Collies. If you can, let me know and I will meet you there.
