I have a 7 month old bulldog puppy. For the past month he has been having soft stools in the evening. It isn't diarrhea, but it is sometimes close. His morning and noon stools are normal. I haven't made any changes in diet or anything I can pin this on. Should I bring him to the vet, or is there just something I can add to his lunch? I normally feed him at 7am and noon. Thanks for any advise.

Soft stool in the evening may be happening just because he has not eaten since noon or because you are giving him both meals early in the day. Try giving him a dog biscuit or two around your dinner time, 6 or 7 in the evening, and see what happens. Cut down his other meals a little bit to compensate for the extra food.
