Topic Dog Boards / Health / Psychopharmacolgy/alternative therapies?
- By digger [gb] Date 07.07.03 10:10 UTC
As part of my HNC I have to write a report on treating dogs behavioural problems with drugs as prescribed by a vet and other 'alternative therapies' - has anyone here had drugs such a Clomicalm, Fluoxetine, Diazepam, Melatonin or anything similar prescribed - if so what was the outcome?

How about alternative therapies (TTouch, Bach Flower Remedies, Crystals, Homeopathy, healing, acupuncture, aromatherapy etc)? Has anyone used any of these and what were the results?

Many thanks

Fran

My dog that I rehomed last year has been treated homoeopathically for the canine equivalent of ADHD; 3 pills in one day and 3 weeks later 2 more. He is a different dog; if this had not worked the only thing left was phenobarbitone or being PTS!
