Hi everyone ,hope you all had a good weekend !i think Lola has flees, when we collected her from the R.S.P.C.A.they told us they had treated her ,but whatever it was it has not worked !whats the best treatment for a puppy ?and how effective are flea collars? and also do i have to go to the vets to buy treatments? (i have been told by vets that any treatment from pet shops are waste of money as they are not strong enough !!)i am a little concerned to have to re apply another treatment on such a young puppy so soon , will this be o.k?.she is chewing and scratching a lot,(she is 7 months )yours in anticipation Sue T x

Frontline can be used on young pups, and I think you can use Stronghold on pups her age (7 months?) too. Both are available from your vets. Best to check with your vet though - the vet is right - pet shop treatment is pathetic, and can sometimes make your pet poorly (allergic reactions etc). You'll probably save money using the vet treatment, as the pet shop products are never as good as they say they are.
Best of luck and congratulations :)
