I was wondering if anybody had heard of or experienced mixed litter.
I own a pure bred boxer bitch and on day 11 and 12 I mated her with another pure bred boxer. On day 14 a Border Colly broke in to our house while I went to the bank I was out for about 15 minutes and then they vere tied.Of course I was totally shocked and in fact I still am. Has anyone experienced this and if they have how was the resulting litter? Of course I immidietly phoned my vet and he told me that the changes were that she wouldnt consieve, that she was allready mated to the boxer or that she would only have cross breeds puppies or that the litter could be some pure breds and some cross breeds. Any informations are appriciated as I am quite worried over this.

Yes, you'll probably have some purebred puppies and some crossbreeds. Luckily it should be very easy to tell the difference!

Many years ago my neighbour's bitch (a mongrel herself) mated with the local farm collie. A couple of days later she mated with a labrador. She ended up producing 8 black-and-white hairy pups and one yellow smooth-coat!
