Well I 've done my research { I think) and booked a site at Brighouse Bay, Scotland for 3 nights in our camper. There will be me and husband plus 6mth old Gordon pup. We have a free standing awning with a bedroom compartment and room for Bess's crate. As this is our first time with dog I'm feeling nervous. Any advice welcomed! Oh another thing I have a horrible suspicion Bess might decide to come into season just as we leave..............

You and me both. Skye's 8 months soon and we are off for 2 weeks camping, her first holiday, and I just know that she will come into season while we are away! Ah well it will save the furniture I suppose :-)

Just to let you know Heidi that our trip went well. Bess travelled well in her crate in the camper. At the site she met many admirers both human and canine! Best of all was her first sight of the sea - a very puzzled dog!!
Only problem was keeping her on the lead at all times except when free running on the beach. Hope your holiday is a good experience for all.
