IYA MY DOG SASH HAS JUST HAD A LITTLER , THEY ARE 2 WEEKS OLD, BUT EVER SINCE SHE HAD THEM I'V PUT A SAFETY GATE UP IN THE UTILITY ROOM DOWNSTAIRS NEXT TO THE KITCHEN FOR HER, SO THAT THE PUPPIES DON'T WANDER ALL OVER THE HOUSE, AND SHE'S GOT HER OWN SPACE TO FEED THEM ETC IN HER WHELPING BOX.

THE TROUBLE IS, IF THE KIDS FORGET TO CLOSE THE GATE, BECAUSE THE TOILETTE IS RIGHT NEXT TO THE UTILITY ROOM SHE GETS OUT AND GOES UPSTAIRS, AND WITH OUT FAILURE SHE DUMPS ONE HUGE PILE IN THE SPARE ROOM, ALONG WITH A WET PATCH OF PEE.

SHE IS NORMALLY VERY GOOD, AND SHE HAS NO REASON TO DO THIS AS I HAVE THE DOOR OPEN FOR HER ALL THE TIME SO SHE CAN WANDER OUT IF SHE WANTS TO FREELY, (THE PUPPIES ARN'T COLD AS THE BOX IS AWAY FROM ANY DRAFTS OF CHILLS).

DO YOU THINK IT IS BECAUSE NORMALLY SHE HAD FREEDOM OF THE HOUSE IF YOU LIKE, AND NOW SHE HASN'T. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANKS DONNA.

If she all ways had freedom of the house why lock her up? :( Can't u put up something that she can easily walk over but the pups can't climb over (2 weeks I doubt they are climbing much anyhow)? She may feel left out and this is her way of telling u. Why not try giving her free run when u are home and see how she does. Or maybe there is more wrong and she doesn't feel to good. I'm sure someone will be along with more helpful advice.

Good luck

ttfn :)

Please don't use capital letters, much nicer to read in lower case ty :)
