if shes 4 weeks id try her with something a touch less runny, can you get pedigree weaning porridge mix it to a yoghurt type thickness, it wont come down the nose etc then, --good luck

I had the same problem with one of my pups, although a bit younger, I mixed a farleys rusk in with the welpi, seemed to do the trick and it helped put the weight on too. At 4 weeks mine had started the weaning process (only because of eclampsia problems) try her on something a little more sloppy rather than just milk, I even added a touch of ready brek which they enjoyed.
Hope this helps

It sounds like a cleft palate, he may very well have missed it. Good luck.

One i of my puppies kept snorting milk out of his nose from the day he was born, he was smaller than the others, i soaked it up with a tissue straight away, and rubbed is back that helped to bring it all out, i fed them solids at four weeks but also kept them on the breast milk twice a day, until they were six weeks, try putting the milk in a slow flow bottle the pup will still take it, my small puppy turned out to be the biggest at eight weeks.
