Having lost our retriever that we had from a pup last year aged 16 we are now looking for a new dog.Although we would prefer a young dog or an older pup rather than a out and out puppy.We live in a quiet area on the outskirts of the Yorkshire Dales and have quite a large quiet back garden that opens onto open countryside so its an ideal spot for a dog.If anyone in the north of England can help or have any suggestions (other than actual breed rescue-we are on the list butthey are long and none seem to be coming through),coul you please email me at johnkip@ntlworld.com
