My pup is now just over 3 months and is on the whole very good but several times she has been wetting her bed. This only seems to happen when I am out.
I leave newspaper down for her and she seems to have very good bladder control through the night. She is not alone as I have two other dogs. She also appears to occasionally stop and start when she is weeing rather than having one big one (if you get my drift). She was checked by the vet several weeks ago and there did not appear to be any sign of a urine infection. Any ideas please?

We will need some more info on this one before we can attempt to get to the bottom of it....
Is she house trained? Sounds like you haven't attempted to tackle that partcular hurdle yet (quite rightly as puppies do not have proper bladder control until they are at least 3 or 4 months old at the very least).
So, assuming your puppy still uses the newspaper on a regular basis and is not house trained, the strange thing is that she would wet her bed and not choose another corner of the room to wee in. Is she awake when she wets the bed?
If so this is strange behaviour as most dogs would ratehr not soil their bedding if at all possible...
Let us know!

We are working on the house training! Most of the time she is very good but we are still having the occasional accident even with the back door open. It seems to happen when I am out although she is with the other dog who is 7 months old. She seems to wee intermittently in the garden at times but shows no sign of discomfort but if I praise her it seems to put her off and she stops! She is quite a nervous little girl so I am working on building her confidence yet when she plays she appears to be rather a feisty little madam! I am baffled and slightly concerned.

You still haven't told me whether you think the bed wetting happens while she is asleep?
The intermittent peeing is a strange one in a bitch (tends to be male dogs who do that...) I will try and look into it for you.
Also I can't remember what breed we aretalking about.
With regards to stopping when they are praised, this is quite normal. KT does the same if I said "good girl" while she is still weeing she will stop!
Let me know about the sleep and breed.

Now that I have looked it up I realize we also need to know whether the accidents started happening in conjunction with any vaccination or medication you might have given the puppy. It is quite a serious problem and you need to try and pin point anything that might have changed in her routine round about the same time as the bed wetting started. Is it only bed wetting or also elsewhere?
