Does anyone know if there is a courtesy tent at Blackpool. I have rung the sec but only get the answerphone and he has not responded. We are caravaning at a site not too far away but are taking our 15 week pup with us and I do not like the idea of leaving her at the caravan on her own so was hoping there would be a cortesy tent but there is no mention in schedule

Hi Blackpool usually does have a tent for unentered dogs just at the enterance to the show ground.Gillian

Hang fire, I was told by someone who went to this show last year that there wasn't an unentered dogs tent and they had to keep their pup in the car and keep going back to check on her. This is why I've arranged for someone to look after my bitch who I don't show which is annoying cos when we went to Three Counties we put her in the unentered tent and it was great :-) I don't really want to risk leaving her in the car incase it's a hot day :-(

Maybe it has changed this year ?

Sorry Claire and Star I was going from the year before last so it may have changed last year although there is not for competition in the catalogue so maybe thats replaced it to make more money.Gillian

Do you know if the caravan site still has vacancies as we are finding it hard to find a site.

I don't know as we booked a few weeks back. The one we use is Pipers Heights. Have you tried that one.
I will have to wait and see about the tent then!

Pipers Height is full except on Sunday evening. We are showing on Sunday and have booked that evening but were trying to get in for Saturday as well and there are no places!
Looks like an early start on Sunday for us!

They dont' this year. I emailed them months ago and have had to come up with alternative arrangements for our mixed breed dog because they said there wouldn't be one.
