Siting at my desk just now watching my lovebirds outside in the avairy instead of working.

I have plaits of sisal and various bits of string I have used to tie branches etc up in there.

There is a loop of thin string that one bird in paricular spends a lot of time hanging from with its beak just spinning itself round and round (and round and round and round and round) .

It's mate has obviously got fed up with this behaviour and just leant over and neatly cut the string! The "spinning" bird just dropped! Sounds absolutely furious, chittering away and keeps going back to where the string was and then chittering again. The other one has just calmly gone for a bath :D

Has to have been the female that did it, a male wouldn't have those sort of brains.

Nice to know that its not only humans that have irritating mates. lol :-D :-D
