Recently read an article about China culling cats and dogs in the mistaken belief that SARs is transmitted via animals . Singapore has now followed suit in instigating a cull of cats and dogs.

Campaigner Jenny Ong says - " The Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Sinapore needs to recieve as many e-mails of potest as possible , over the present intensified culling of strays , especially cats due to the baseless notion and fear of SARS being transmitted by them , though no evidence of this has proven so far "
