Does anyone know how to get rid of them or know when they are gone? My puppy have puked up a couple worms. I notice he is very uncomforatable at night. We gave him that medication you mix with their food. I have to give him another dose in 2 weeks to make sure infestation is all destroyed. Is there any other home remidies that can be used? A person who breeds dogs told me to break up a cigarette and mix it in his food, he said it will kill the worms but not the eggs. Does anyone know anything about this?

Don't feed him the tobacco - there would be enough nicotine in that to make him very ill, and maybe kill him. (Choose your advisors carefully!)

Crushing a clove of garlic into one of his meals every day is supposed to be a good preventive - and won't do him any harm.
