Hello my dog is just 2 he has recently started biting strangers (men) that come near our property if he is out lose. We have an older bitch but she is fine he just seems to really gard his pen etc. We have a public path that peple bike past he chases them and bites them if he can get to them. They both live out, but come in loads and are really soppy with people they now. He gets walked 3 or 4 times a day.

Somone says we should have him put down as he is dangeruos but he isn't really what should we do, what about sending him away to be trained again?

Don't send him away to be trained - it obviously didn't work last time!

It's your responsibility as his owner to make sure that he cannot hurt people who are on the public path. Otherwise it comes down to the fact that he is "dangerously out of control in a public place" and he could well be destroyed.

If you want to keep him, make sure he can't get near the path. New secure fencing, perhaps?
