Does anybody know of any foods that have no protein in at all?
My friends puppy has kidney problems and needs to find foods that have no protein in that her pup likes please help.

As I understand it Proteins are the building blocks of life, so I don't think you can feed No protein.

With Kidney problems a fine balance has to be found to fed enough protein to maintain health, and low enough to not overtax them.

I think the key is low amounts of high quality protein is the key, but an animal nutritionist shoukld be consulted. there are Veterinary diets for this.

your vet or certainly my vet carries prescription diets for such cases.
