i am hoping to mate my s/p bitch within the next month before anyone jumps on the subject of health issues all have been done & she is perfectly healthy.
I have never shown her but she has a champion sister.
i am very keen to use a black dog on her he is bred from the same lines & they share the same grand sire on both his sire & dams side as his dam was bred s/p dog to black bitch,& both his parents were cousins, the dog has produced some lovely healthy & typey pups as well.
Problem is he is 1" over height & he is quite heavy apart fom that he is perfect in every way gentically & has such a hard jacket, beautiful head, furnishings to die for. His sister is a s/p & is shown & doing very well.
What would anyone else do in this situation? I also have the chance of using th black dogs sire who is also related to my bitch but his sire is my bitchs grandsire, he is absoutly ideal in height weight etc.......... he is a s/p & 6 years old still siring show winning puppies but i really prefer the black he looks more manly.LOL.
waiting for replies
Samantha.
