I have a Welsh Terrier she came to me because her first owner did not want to keep her. I have her pedegree details - she was bred by Alexandra Witmond from Essex. Does she still breed Welsh Terriers? I could not find her on your breeders list.

They are a lovely breed, I did not know they existed until I was asked if I wanted one and I cannot understand why they are not more popular. Is there any reason why there are so few Welsh around?

Thanks

Welcome to the forum Mandy.

Have you tried contacting the breed clubs to see if they know of your breeder?

Some breeds are more popular than others. :-) We all have our favourites and it all comes down to personal preference. Some breeds are *promoted* more than others. Not necessarily in the breeds interests :-( Breeds that get regular media coverage tend to become *popular* because they are drawn to the attention of the public at large.
