Elsa has lost all her co-ordination, drops her hip when walking and looks a mess. Vet did as much as he could then reffered her to a vet in Wales, he did blood tests, took joint fluid also a milagram, after all this could not tell me what the problem was. Can any body give me some advice and helo. She looks in such good condition, eyes bright, gloosy coat and loves her food but when she gets up to walk, Icould cry looking at her. HELP. I am doing this on behalf of my friend Molly. She owns the dogs.

I'm very sorry to hear your problems with Elsa. Your vet seems to have done all he can do under the circumstances and I feel the next move would be to ask him to refer the case to the Royal Veterinary College. I'm not sure which would be the nearest to you but Potters Bar would only be a trip down the motorway and round the M25. Referring a case is no slur on your vet, it's like a GP and a specialist in human medicine. Please keep us posted of developments.
Regards, John

Hi, sorry to hear of your problems. I'm sure she must have been x-rayed, but you didn't mention it - I just wondered if her spine/hips had been x-rayed since this problem started?
