I am due to pick up our new puppy tomorrow and have just een diagnosed as having shingles! Will this put her at any risk? My common sense says no but I feel I must check this out.

Have never heard of shingles in dogs. In humans it is a condition found in adults caused by the same agent as that, that caused Chickenpox. It may cause a condition in dogs but I have never heard of it and would ask for clarification of what the pup is suffering from.

I think you are correct, sorry, no it should make no difference except you may find dealing with the pup a bit of a trial.
