You should not be thinking about a Stud for your bitch so late in the day! Breeding is a serious subject and needs a lot of thought well in advance. You are unlikely to find any reputable Stud dog owner willing to help you. It is normal to ask to use a Stud well in advance of the bitch being due in season. The Stud owner will want to be able to see the bitch and her pedigree to see if they are suitable. Have you done any health checks, such as having your bitches Hips scored and Eyes Tested. Do you realise that you will have a lifelong moral responsibility to the puppies your bitch produces, this may mean years later having to take one or more back into your home if the new owners circumstances change. Most important WHY DO YOU WISH TO BREED valid reasons would be to help maintain quality in the breed, to keep one for work or show for yourself. You should ask yourself what will this litter add to the good of the breed?
