Do you get your dog treated before you put them in kennels?
I am putting my dog in kennels for a week, but I don't know if it is really worth getting it done. Opinions appreciated :)

Some kennels will insist you do, you will need to check with them as it needs to be done about 10 days before I think. If the kennel does not require it I would check with your vet as to whether they think it advisable in your area as there are a number of different strains some more virilent and disabilitating than others.

The only thing is that my vets always say to get injections done etc.. they do seem to like getting money

Possibly, but possibly it is recommended for your area (my vet for instance does not recommend it in my area so clearly not all money makers :)). The important think is it will differ area by area so it is not really any use seeking advice outwith the area. Why not phone up a couple of other vets in your area and see what they say?
